The murky world of mortgages

Operation house buying is a go-go. I repeat. A go go people.

All I'll say is that we have made an offer that has been accepted and we are now proceeding with mortgage applications - or more to the point, a man called Phil is doing the paper pushing and telephone chasing on our behalf.

If I continue to discuss this, verbally or otherwise, I get far too excited and considering it isn't officially ours yet I don't want to end up in a puddle of mascara tainted tears if it all turns to shite.
