Other goings on

I've been lazy on the blog front, apologies peeps. A quick round up of the last two weeks.
  1. I applied for the aforementioned wonderful job. Now, I have the long wait until May 22nd and beyond to find out if I have an interview
  2. Swine flu has broken out. Bloody inconsiderate if you ask me but very good for those drug companies who have made the potential cure for it and are now cashing in. Catch it. Bin it. Kill it. Make a small fortune.
  3. Started eating the "GI way". High fibre and low fat. Going OK so far.
  4. I want to start running. I'm too scared to say it out loud. I couldn't be more in awe of those guys who ran the marathon. I never want to run a marathon EVER, you must understand, but I think a bit of gentle jogging may help to shift these pounds I seem to be clinging onto, especially as the boxing will have to temporarily cease due to financial constraints. I'll start with a wee jog in the gym. I will. I promise.
  5. Got some free shea body butter with this week issue of Marie Claire. It's nice. The free gift may have worked in terms of me going to the body shop and buying an overpriced full size tub of it
  6. Had tapas in Brighton on Good Friday. It was nice. I'm sure Jesus would have approved.
  7. My friend Clare visited and we saw Alexander Armstong while we were on the bus. Clare had a small stroke. My small stroke came when I was at a work farewell party and Professor Robert Winston was also in attendance and made a speech. I was this close, *forefinger and thumb very close together*, to hysteria.
